Melanie Tingey has served on the Board of Directors of the Tarkken Roessler Foundation since it's origin. She is a Utah native and has lived in California and Maine while her husband, Kim, was active duty Air Force. After serving in the Air Force Kim served in the Air National guard and recently retired as a Lt. Colonel. Melanie has an Elementary Education Degree and has taught school in the Weber County School Distict for 20 years. Together they have raised five children, three girls and two boys. Their two sons are currently serving in the Air National Guard.
She has experienced first hand the needs of veterans and believes in the commitment we should all have to support and honor the men and women that have dedicated a part of their lives to protect us as they serve our country. She currently serves as the Board Secretary.
